Given that there is so many designers – we’ve had a look through them all and picked a few of our favorites that are the most relevant to our Saturday Night Fashion customers whether it be the dress, the colour, a shape or because we’re already guessing which celebrity we’ll see in what!
Christian Siriano SS14 show was amazing the colours, the printed fabric & the looks were fabulous. The looks coming down the catwalk looked like they could have been strutting their stuff through a hot dusty dessert. Next summer we’ll still see the crop top and midi length trends continuing on with some layering. Really love to see gorgeous lemon, green & coral colours for summer time.
Zip’s, Zip’s & more zip’s the Hervé Léger SS14 catwalk show looked sexy & dominating with tight form fitting dresses, skirts & crop tops & it wouldn’t be summer with a gorgeous short shorts look – the zip detail, which you saw throughout a good few looks really gave the dresses their structure – we love to see the Hérve Léger show as they are the perfect looks we’re looking to re-create for our Saturday nights out.
Pretty is a good word to describe the Victoria, Victoria Beckham SS14 Collection. Structured, clean dresses but in the most beautiful Spring Summer colours & prints. This is Victoria’s more ‘affordable’ collection but really they are looks you could have in your wardrobe for a long time so if you can afford to splurge i would say they are a good investment. Definitely looks here we can keep in mind for next summer and find on the high street.
Saving the best for last – looking at the images from this show you felt immediately transported to somewhere in the Mediterranean with an oceanic feel to the SS14 show. The colours, print and the looks felt very classic DVF and we loved it feminine, sexy looks with a 60’s vibe with the fabulous wide leg jumpsuits – LOVED! And the runway show finished off with the fabulous Naomi Campbell strutting her stuff in a gorgeous gold detail mini.
As we said saving the best for last – Monique Lhuillier Oh My god – her SS14 show was amazing so much so we couldn’t stop at one image for her. There is something for every occasion in her runway show she really gets how to dress a woman so beautifully, the colours were gorgeous from whites, fuchsia pinks, coral colours. The pink midi length bodycon number with lace detail long sleeve’s – amazing, the white collared coral playsuit so fun & flirty & her amazing gowns we’re already imaging who’s going to be accepting their Oscar Award in one of these! All we can say is roll on Summer 2014.
